There’s a a fair review of the FreeLegalWeb beta and support for the concept in the class blog for the Cornell Law School course Online Legal Research – Free Sources, entitled Wikipedia for law – pipe dream or possibility?

We’ll see, but Wikipedia’s experience is that not a lot of lawyers edit; doctors do, but not lawyers. Perhaps it is because their work to a certain extent consists of restatements of case law. Anyway, good luck.

I can see the reason why alot of people wouldn’t want to contribute, certainly alot of people relying on the stuff.

Andrew Keoghs old crimeline version was very good.

Baili is good, but westlaw is brilliant (but it costs)
